AI Film Competition 2024

AI-Generated Visuals

• Mandatory AI Use: All main visuals in your trailer must be AI-generated. AI tools can be used to create, modify, or enhance each visual element.
• Character Movement: You may use tools like Wonder Studio for character movements, but the primary visuals must be AI-generated.
• Style Transfer: AI style transfer tools can be used to alter footage or 3D elements, but scoring focuses on storytelling and effective AI use. Basic filters won't meet scoring requirements.
• Core Visuals Requirement: The main visuals and composition should be AI-generated or AI-modified, even if live-action or digital assets are included.
• Proof of AI Use: Gumvue Studio may request proof of AI use. Failure to provide this may result in disqualification.

Sound

• Voice Overs: Voiceovers don’t need to be AI-generated.
• Music and Effects: Royalty-free or non-AI music and sound effects are allowed.

Length and Quantity

• Duration: Maximum 20 minutes, minimum 30 seconds.
• Submissions: Multiple entries are allowed.

Collaboration

• Teamwork: Collaboration is allowed but not required. Teamwork won’t impact scoring.

Submission

• Deadline: Submit by December 25, 2024, at midnight PST.
• Submission Link: A link to submit will be provided below.

Evaluation

• Judging: A panel will judge entries based on storytelling and AI use. First, second, and third places will be awarded.
• Audience Favorite: Determined by votes; one vote per IP. Vote manipulation will lead to disqualification.
